During these years I talked a lot about Valentine’s Day and how to have a perfect lovely day:

• Manage a perfect dinner at home and some related ideas about the menus;
• To be perfect for the perfect Valentine’s Day: it’s easy with some helpful trick;
• To pick the perfect gift, and to choose something uncommon and unconventional for your love.

Yeah a lot of suggestions… but I think that something is missing….

Which is the next step?

It is clearly the perfect Valentine’s Day card! The right gift is not enough if you missing a proper card!

If you love the customized cards and you like the idea to build your personalized card, in this post you can find some good ideas. You can reproduce these lovely cards or you can only be inspired by them, in any case your card is going to be amazing even if it won’t be perfect. And for sure your Valentine will love it!

Although you are not good at all with paper, scissors and glue,  this idea will be easy for you as well.
You can write your message directly on the paper that you are going to use for wrapping your gift. The few things you need are a one color paper, a pen and a ribbon, of course. I made the same things for one guy: I bought a raw brown paper and I wrote on it all the reasons why I love him. I wrapped the gift with that paper and I closed everything with raw twine. My special and customized wrapped package had a great success… indeed that guy now is my husband!

If you are looking for more challenging projects you can choose one of the following! I think they are really cute and not too difficult to make.

• Love Polaroid:

This card is realized by adding a “polaroid frame” directly on the card. All that you need is: a card, 3 or more frame cutted in “polaroid shape”, a piece of plastic transparent sheet and some tiny paper hearts.

For making your card you should start attaching 2 or more frame overlapped on the card. You should put the tiny hearts inside the frame, after that you should paste the transparent sheet over the frame and finally another polaroid frame for blocking everything.

• Pure heart:

This card is a kind of variation of the previous one. For making it you need: a card, a cardboard, two transparent sheets and some little hearts. The first step is to paste 3 side of the sheets, put inside the little hearts and when all of them are inside, you can past the fourth side. The next step is to cut an heart on the card, paste on it the transparent bag with the tiny hearts. At the end you should past another piece of paper (with the same shape cutted) on the card and that’s it! I assure that it is more easy to do than to explain! I promise!

• Love writing:

This is the most easy card! The only thing you need is a good handwriting a a couple or three paper hearts. I think that any explanation is required for this project!

• the Thread of love

This is my favorite card! For making it you need only a card, some thread and a needle. Starting drawing an heart on the card and after that you should make some holes along the heart profile, and a bigger hole in the middle of the heart.

The project is almost done, you should only stitch all the holes starting each time from the middle one.

 

• Cross hearts

For those of you who love embroider, you can do it on a Valentine’s card… like the one in the pic.

Those are my favorite ideas for an amazing Valentine’s card made with love!
