Halloween’s Makeup Tutorials

Hello Everyone!

In few days it will be Halloween again! Are you ready? If you haven’t choose your costume yet, you are in the right place for some good inspirational ideas! In this post I’ll show you some of my favorite DIY makeup for Halloween. All these makeup are quick and easy to realise, they are eligible for man and woman and at least but not last, they are cheep, you will not buy pretty much anything to make it.

What you need

Mostly of the stuff used in following tutorials maybe is already in you home. Here it the the list:

For the structure:

  1. Kleenex (or toilet paper), you need to separate the single voiles;IMG_20151028_105418
  2. Liquid latex (you can buy it almost everywhere for example in some Pharmacies or in specialized stores, I bought mine in  Party City store), alternatively you can also use vinyl glue, but latex is better because vinyl glue it is a little bit toxic;
  3. Brushes and makeup sponge.

For adapt the structure to our skins:

  1. Your usually  base foundation, concealer, and face poudre;IMG_20151028_105915
  2.  Black eye shadow;
  3. Black and White eye pencils;
  4. Brushes and makeup sponge.

For dramatic scenic effects:

  1. A painters palette (alternatively you can use base foundation in white tone, different red lip sticks, black eyeliner gel);
  2. Fake blood (or colored jelly);
  3. Brushes and makeup sponge.

You also need little scissors and eyebrow’s tweezer to cut and model the latex

Let’s see what I’ve done!

1. Marie Antoinette

For this project my inspiration was the Queen Marie Antoinette. Actually my real inspiration was the Game of Throne character Catelyn Stark, but I thought that the French queen is most popular than the North Queen. I recreated a cut on my neck. Let’s see how I made it!

2. Silent

Starting in the same way that previously video, I realized a scary extension of my smile and at the end I added a very shocking detail. For this specific project, you also need a cotton tread. Let’s see it.

3. Unzipped Face

Maybe the most disturbing of the three projects based on Liquid Latex use presented. For this look I used, in addition to the items shown above, a 12 inch zipper. Let’s see how I unzipped my face!

Some good advices:

  1. Do not use latex on your hair, beard and skin hear, it is like a glue and it could be complicated remove it from your hairs;
  2. Is difficult to remove red jelly, you need a bunch of patience;
  3. Do not use decorated toilet paper, even if you apply latex on it, the decorations are ever clear in your fake skin.

These are my first 3 Halloween’s Makeup proposals. The good point of this kind of makeup is that it doesn’t need a particular dress code to complete itself.

In my mind each one of these makeup fits perfectly with a total black and skinny outfit, but it could be also a disturbing detail on a classical outfit. I imaged one of this makeup with old, wreck, dirty dress. In this way you are like a walking ghost of young woman nastily killed.

Anyway, there are infinite variations to mix up these makeup and different outfits.

If you are looking for other easy makeup tutorial, in next post I’ll show you other options!
