Hello Friends!
There is a simple thing I learned in these week close to the delivery date of my daughter: wen you’re not ready and you are wait for nobody, you can be sure that a friend or a close person will come to visit you!
No problem, in fact I like having my home full of friends, as usual the key word is “to be organized”!
When you have a guest, you should have something to eat and drink for him!In this specific period of the year, you can offer a Halloween theme cake in which the main ingredient is the pumpkin!
For this reason this morning I prepared my ring shape Halloween cake for those who will come to visit us in the next days.
Due to the fact that I really don’t know when we should run to the hospital for delivering my baby girl, I made a little ring shape cake with pumpkins and chocolate drops.
Little ring shape cake with pumpkin and chocolate drops recipe
Ingredients for a little/medium cake

- 200 gr of pumpkin;
- 170 gr of flour;
- 60 gr of sugar;
- Baking powder;
- 140 gr milk;
- 40 gr extra virgin olive oil;
- 60 gr chocolate drops.
You also need a ring shape cake mold and a mixer.
At the beginning I turn on the oven (170 celsius degrees). I removed the peel to the pumpkin and I boiled it for almost 15 minutes. I mixed the boiled pumpkin until it was a cream.
I mixed in a bowl the flour, the sugar and the baking powder and I added the pumpkin cream, the oil and little by little the milk. I melted the ingredient continuously until I had a perfect melted mixture. At this point I added the chocolate drops and I put everything in the mold. I baked for 30 minutes. I let the cake completely cool down, I removed it from the mold and it was ready to be served.
Here my final result! Mission accomplished, the cake is super delicious!
I suggest to eat your cake within 4 days and to store it in the fridge.
In few minutes of preparation and in a half hour of baking, I bake my little ring shaped Halloween cake. I guess it is perfectly matching with this days!
